Federal Work-Study provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The following departments are actively seeking student workers for the Spring 2024 semester:

The division of Academic Success is hiring tutors, especially in Math and Science.

If you don’t have Work Study, you can earn tuition credit, and this experience looks great on your resume.

You can work in Augusta, Bangor or online.

UMA Libraries is looking for Student Circulation Assistants at both Katz and Nottage Libraries this semester!

The Circulation Assistant is the first point of contact for library patrons. Their primary responsibilities are to check books in and out to patrons, re-shelve and pull books from the library shelves, and provide excellent customer service to patrons. Circulation Assistants are also responsible for the general upkeep of library spaces, helping manage room reservations, answering phone calls, and performing library opening and closing duties. There are also opportunities to create book displays and help with other library activities.
