Dr. Hall became a Lecturer of Nursing at the University of Maine at Augusta in August 2025. She obtained her ADN from CMMC School of Nursing in 1992. Dr. Hall gained extensive experience in a Pediatric/Adult Intensive Care Unit at a level one trauma center. It was during this time that she developed her passion for caring for all patients with critical conditions. She also has experience in medical/surgical nursing, home health, and the emergency department. Dr. Hall’s life journey highlighted how much she enjoys teaching, a passion that blossomed during the seventeen years she spent homeschooling her three children. Following this period, she returned to academia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020, a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in education in 2022, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2024, all from Capella University. Additionally, in August 2023. She attained her certification as a Nurse Educator. During her free time, Dr. Hall enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, five stepchildren, and thirteen grandchildren. Together, she and her husband enjoy walking or hiking with their two Alaskan Malamutes. In quieter moments, she enjoys a good cross-stitching project or immerses herself in a good book. |
