Erin Bellaire

My name is Erin Bellaire and I live in Clinton with my husband and 14 year-old son. I have been a nurse for 23 years and worked in healthcare for the last 25 years! I spent the first 19 years of my career at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, Me. I was fortunate to work in many of the different units including Med-Surg, Women and Infants, Clinical Supervision and Director of Nursing Education. I am so proud of the career and relationships I developed while at Waldo. Nursing brings together a group of diverse individuals who otherwise might never have met, all with the same goal in mind, safe excellent patient care.

In 2016 I made the move to academia! I have always been pulled toward education. I enjoy watching others learn new skills as they work toward pursuing their goals. My best days are when I get to spend time in the classroom, lab or clinical with students.

I am currently working on my Doctorate of Nursing Practice and plan to graduate in April 2021. In my free time, that seems to be all I do! However I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love to knit, purple is my favorite color and Prince Edward Island is my favorite vacation spot.
