Haley has worked in UMA’s Advising department since 2011. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Maine. Haley’s primary focus is in career advising, where she helps students decide on their major, establish career goals, and assist them in conducting their job/internship search (resume/cover letter writing, interviewing, etc.). Haley also coordinates the portfolio assessment process, where students can receive academic credit for UMA courses based on their prior knowledge and work experience outside the classroom. Haley believes that every student deserves a chance and is willing to help anyone achieve their educational goals. Please feel free to reach out to Haley any time you have questions.
When not at UMA, Haley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as other family and friends.
