Iris Eichenlaub

Iris served as a school librarian for 11 years in Maine K-12 schools — including additional roles as technology integrator and instructional coach. Prior to that, she worked in a rural public library. Iris is the 2022 Walter J. Taranko School Librarian of the Year, the 2017 Knox County Teacher of the Year, and was named an MEA Inspiring Educator in 2017. Iris is a proud graduate of the ILS program at UMA (’08).
