Joe Light

Joe is a proud Navy Veteran and a UMA alum (2016). He has been with UMA since 2024, working on both the Augusta and Bangor campuses before transferring to the Rockland Center in the summer of 2026. Joe is excited to join the UMA Rockland front staff, where he will often be the first person students, faculty, and community members see when they arrive. He is cross-trained in multiple University functions and is happy to assist students with the admissions process, financial aid steps, course registration, university technology, and accessing university resources. Joe also helps plan and coordinate Rockland Center events.
