Bio

Prior to teaching full time in the fall of 2009, I had worked in the mental health and addiction field for 32 years.  In the mid 1980’s, I was one of the first Intensive Case Managers. In the early 1990’s, I was working with individuals, families, couples, and group counseling to get my field training.  Then I began to move into leadership positions from clinical administration to visionary planning. There has been one steady aspect to my practice, my advocacy for those that do not have a voice for whatever reason.
