Current college students, or anyone interested in exploring going to college, are encouraged to schedule a free in-person or virtual financial aid advising appointment with Christy Le, our MEOC financial aid counselor. In addition to helping with things such as filing your FAFSA, she can also assist you with exploring and applying to college.

Lewiston Student Association Meeting

Join Us: Lewiston Student Association Meeting
You are invited to join us for our next UMA Lewiston Student Association (LSA) meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 12:00 – 1:00pm. You can attend in-person or via Zoom.
The purpose of this association is to represent the interests of the UMA Lewiston students including organizing events and activities to help foster a sense of community for students both in-person and virtually. The LSA serves as the administrator for the student activity fees allocated to the Lewiston Center.
At this meeting we will be discussing:
– Electing Officers: President, Vice President, Secretary
– Planning for events and activities for the coming year
This is an informal meeting that will give students the chance to connect and talk about how you would like to see the student activity fees spent this year. Some examples of past activities include: bus trips to places like Boston and Mohegan Sun, Paint Parties, Bingo Events, Raffles including holiday gifts cards, UMA Swag, etc.
We hope you can join us for this meeting. And again, you can attend in-person at the Lewiston Center – or – by going to the Zoom link that you will find in your student email. You can also email us at umalewiston@maine.edu to request the zoom link. The meeting is only open to currently registered UMA Lewiston students.
