Autumn Brushes and Brilliance: A Beginner Watercolor Workshop

Make an afternoon of this event by joining us for a visit and tour of the new Katahdin Woods and Waters Tekakapimək Contact Station in the national monument from 1-3pm. Concluding with the watercolor workshop from 4:30-6:00 pm at the Katahdin Higher Education Center.

Everything is included in the cost of $25: for all painting supplies, cider, mocktails and delicious snacks!

This workshop is being instructed by resident artist, Liz True, Vice President of Student Affairs at Eastern Maine Community College. She will walk us through creating this beautiful design and we’ll learn how to use watercolor, water and salt to make interesting textures.
