Join us for the Fall Into Reading Festival: a fun, cozy afternoon filled with stories, treats, and fall family fun.
Fall Into Reading Festival for Ages 3-8
On October 3 (rain date October 4), come celebrate the season at the University of Maine at Augusta with an afternoon of stories, costumes, treats, and fall family fun at the Fall Into Reading Festival, designed especially for children ages 3-8, accompanied by their grown-ups.
Families will enjoy:
- A special viewing of Spookley the Square Pumpkin in the Farber Forum
- A children’s character parade with grand marshals Ms. Frizzle and the Magic School Bus
- Trunk-or-Treat fun
- A story walk to enjoy together on the stroll back to the parking lot
Children are encouraged to come dressed as a favorite book character, in costume, or in festive fall colors. Dressing up is completely optional.
Come ready to read, parade, celebrate, enjoy festive treats, and make some wonderful fall memories together!
Event capacity is limited to 125 children. When reserving tickets, please select one ticket for each child ages 3–8 who will attend. Accompanying grown-ups do not need a ticket and should not be included in your ticket count. Reserve tickets here.
