Kids in Aviation Day

Bring the family for a free morning of hands-on aviation fun!

Kids can test their skills with virtual reality and a drone simulator, get an up-close look at real aircraft, compete in a paper airplane contest and capture the day in our aviation photo booth. Families will also have a chance to meet UMA aviation students and faculty, including women pursuing careers in aviation.

Have a high school student who is thinking about becoming a pilot or exploring a career in aviation? UMA Admissions will be there to answer questions about studying aviation and preparing for a career in the field.

More than 300 people joined us last year, and we are excited to welcome families back for another great day at Brunswick Landing.

Kids in Aviation Day is hosted by the University of Maine at Augusta with support from Wild Oats Bakery & Café.
