Pau Hana at Bangor Beer Co.

Come Pau Hana with us! (Pau Hana is pronounced POW HAH-nah, more or less.)
Pau Hana is Hawaiian for “stop working.” That’s right! You are invited to stop working.
Pau Hana is a monthly gathering of UMA Bangor employees and anyone else in the UMA community who happens to be near Bangor or is willing to make the trip. Together, we will hang out and not work!
This month we’re starting a little early so that people who come to Faculty Senate in Bangor can stop working as soon as the meeting is over!
Come for a few minutes. Come for the whole time. Order a soda, a drink, a snack, a meal. It doesn’t matter. There are no rules. There is no agenda. Stop working and come hang out.
When: Friday, October 16th from 4:15-6:30 (or whenever)
Where: Bangor Beer Company, 330 Bangor Mall Blvd, Bangor, ME 04401
Who: UMA faculty & staff — everyone is invited
Why: Pau Hana. Stop working.
