UMA Cybersecurity Open House & Job Fair

The University of Maine at Augusta is excited to invite you to the Cybersecurity Open House and Job Fair at our new Capital Center Simulation Facility on October 9th. This is a celebration of UMA’s growing role in cybersecurity education and workforce development – and a chance for you to learn how you or someone you know can get involved.

A special welcome to our new simulation facility.
An overview of the history of cybersecurity at UMA, where we are today, and our vision for the future with this new simulation center, which provides real-world, hands-on training for students, workforce development participants, and community partners.
3:45 – 6:00 PM | Job Fair & Guided Tours
Meet state and regional employers who are eager to connect with future cybersecurity professionals.
Explore UMA’s Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program – a federally funded initiative offering free, online, self-paced training that prepares participants for high-demand careers in cybersecurity.
- Open to industry professionals, career changers, veterans, and those entering the field.
- Includes CompTIA-aligned training, industry certifications, and pathways to eight targeted job roles.
