Veterinary Technician Organization meeting

The Veterinary Technician Organization is open to any student currently enrolled (full- or part-time) at UMA who is in good academic standing and is interested in veterinary technology. All members must attend at least one meeting per academic year and provide their maine.edu address for correspondence with VTO.

The purpose of the UMA Bangor VTO is to:

• Promote interest in the diverse science of veterinary medicine
• Aid society and animals through care and services
• Provide and inform the public of the behavior and care of all animals
• Participate in activities benefiting animals and the community
• Develop a respectable, social, and professional reputation
• Create a sense of unity and friendship among members
• Encourage scholarship, service, and community awareness
• Serve as a means of communication between students
