WiCyS (Women in CyberSecurity) Kick-Off Meeting

We are excited to announce the restart of the WiCyS (Women in CyberSecurity) student chapter at UMA!

Join us for our kickoff meeting on Wednesday, September 17 at 4:00 PM via Zoom.

This first meeting will include introductions, an overview of WiCyS and opportunities it offeres (mentorship, scholarships, conferences, and career resources), and a discussion about chapter goals, meeting cadence, and leadership opportunities. All students interested in cybersecurity are welcome to attend, regardless of gender identity or experience level.

WiCyS is a national organization focused on supporting and advancing women in cybersecurity, and UMA is proud to relaunch our chapter to help students connect, learn, and grow in the field.
