UMA Brunswick is one of a few centers around Maine where people can take courses, pursue degrees, and receive all the support they need to earn a degree close to home and on schedules that fit into their family and work lives. Courses are taught by faculty onsite, online, and via web videoconferencing (distance synchronous). The Center is moving to the UMA Aviation site on the Brunswick Landing in June. Our new address is 2 Pegasus St, Hangar 6, suite 3, Brunswick, ME 04011.

  • We provide local access to more than 60 university degree and certificate programs.
  • We offer small class sizes, personalized services, tutoring in math and writing, and Osher scholarships.
  • Students select from 500+ classes in flexible formats, including a number of traditional onsite classes.

Center Hours

Over the Summer term, during our move to the new location, the Center will have limited capacity for in-person services as we prepare for the move. We will continue to provide all support services remotely during the transition.

Services available remotely include: registration assistance, advising, admissions, and enrollment support. Please  email Center Staff to schedule an appointment.  Remote services are available M-F.

Summer Semester Business Hours: (5/11/26 to 8/28/26)

Staff are available remotely from Mon to Fri : 8AM to 5PM

The Center has not scheduled any Summer onsite classes due to the transition to the new location.

For students who need onsite appointments, please contact staff to schedule an appointment.

The Center is closed for the following holidays during the Summer Semester: 5/25/26, 6/19/26, and 7/3/26.

From Woolwich, Wiscasset, Arrowsic and other Midcoast areas north of Bath

Follow Route 1 S toward Bath/Brunswick*.
Take exit ME-24/Cook’s Corner.
Turn right at the intersection in Cook’s Corner onto ME-24 N (Bath Road).
Follow Bath Road for 0.2 mi.
Turn left onto Brunswick Landing.
Follow Admiral Fitch Avenue for 0.7 mi.
Turn left on to Sewall Street.
12 Sewall Street will be on the right at Orion Hall.
Parking is available across the street and behind Orion Hall.

From Points South

Take Interstate 295N to exit 28 (Brunswick).
Proceed to the third stop light and make a left onto Route 1N towards Bath
.
Continue following Route 1N towards Bath.
Take the exit ME-24/Cook’s Corner/Brunswick.
Turn right at the intersection in Cook’s Corner onto ME-24N (Bath Road).
Follow Bath Road for 0.2 mi.
Turn left onto Brunswick Landing.
Follow Admiral Fitch Avenue for 0.7 mi.
Turn left onto Sewall Street.
12 Sewall Street will be on the right at Orion Hall.

From Points North

Take Interstate 295S to exit 31A (Topsham/Route 196).
Proceed approximately 3 miles through 6 lights on Route 196
.
Stay in the left lane and follow the exit for Bath/Brunswick Route 1N
.
Take the exit ME-24/Cook’s Corner/Brunswick.
Turn right at the intersection in Cook’s Corner onto ME-24N (Bath Road).
Follow Bath Road for 0.2 mi.
Turn left onto Brunswick Landing.
