Academic Success is hiring work-study students to serve as peer tutors and support fellow students in their courses.
Peer tutors help other students understand course material, build study skills, and gain confidence in a supportive learning environment. This role is a great way to strengthen communication, leadership, and mentoring skills while contributing to student success at UMA.
To be a peer tutor, you must:
- Be eligible for work-study
- Have completed the course you wish to tutor
- Have earned a grade of B or better
- Be reliable and comfortable working with other students
This can be a remote position.
