Lecturer of Nursing at UMA Bobbi McCarthy has published a Christian science fiction crime novel, The Secret War Within. The inspiration for this novel began years ago while McCarthy was taking a class at UMA with Ellen Taylor, Professor of English. The story focuses on a female Forensic Nurse Crime Investigator and her guardian angel, Caesor.
