As we begin the new academic year, we want to provide an update on security coverage at our Bangor and Augusta campuses.
- Bangor Campus: A UMaine Police Department Officer, Alyshia Dillon, is expected to begin Monday, September 22nd.
- Augusta Campus: We are in the final stages of hiring a dedicated officer and we anticipate a start date in early October.
Once confirmed, we will share officer bios and schedule meet-and-greet opportunities on both campuses so you can get to know the newest members of our community.

For non-emergency police needs, please call the following numbers and they will dispatch the appropriate response:
- Augusta Campus: Augusta Police Department, 207-626-2370
- Bangor Campus: UMPD Dispatch, 207-581-4040
CSOs are on duty Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
UMaine Police Officers will also be intermittently present on both campuses to provide additional support.
