Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: A Practical Approach, will be presented by Dr. Anthony James, on Thursday, 10/21 from noon – 1:00 pm. The lecture will be held in the Farber Forum and be available via Zoom.
In his role as a consultant in support of UMA’s DEI initiatives, Dr. James is assisting in the development of campus-wide DEI strategic goals, an implementation plan, and mechanisms of accountability to evaluate progress towards goal completion. In this presentation, he will share a model for fostering DEI at educational institutions from his recently published book Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: A Practical Guide.
