Juyoung Shim presents at the 2020 Maine Sustainability and Water Conference

Juyoung Shim, a faculty in the biology department is invited to give a talk about arsenic toxicology research which she plans to perform with UMA students starting Summer 2020, at the 2020 Maine Sustainability and Water Conference.

The conference is held at the Augusta Civic Center on March 26th, hosted by UMaine’s Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions. She will present at the Session 4 “All about Arsenic: Eliminating arsenic exposure in Maine and New Hampshire” which focuses on studying health impacts of arsenic, state agencies, and community health organizations working on increasing well water testing, identifying areas of concern, and arsenic-related research.
