To better support UMA departments, programs, and projects with financial operations, the Finance and Administration Office is launching weekly open office hours via Zoom.
These sessions are designed to provide a welcoming space for staff and faculty to ask questions and receive informal training. All UMA staff and faculty are encouraged to attend, especially new employees or anyone looking to deepen their understanding of financial tools and procedures.
Common topics include:
- Accessing and navigating the general ledger
- Monitoring expenses for departments, programs, and projects
- Interpreting financial data and reports
- Guidance on who to contact for specific finance-related issues
We understand that financial systems can feel unfamiliar and intimidating. These office hours aim to offer a supportive environment where no question is too small.
