Sandy River Ramblers Will Perform at UMA Jewett Auditorium

UPDATE: This performance has been rescheduled due to expected weather. The Sandy River Ramblers will perform at the Jewett Hall Auditorium at 2pm on Sunday, March 24th, 2019.

The “Concerts at Jewett” Series sponsored by University of Maine at Augusta College of Arts and Sciences and UMA Senior College will feature the Sandy River Ramblers on Sunday, March 10, 2019, 2PM at UMA Jewett Auditorium. (Snow date: March 24th)

Sandy River Ramblers The Sandy River Ramblers, Maine’s most popular and accomplished bluegrass band, is known for its hot picking, stunning lead and harmony singing, and original songs about Maine. The Ramblers are Stan Keach, guitar; Julie Davenport, bass; Bud Godsoe, banjo; Dan Simmons, mandolin; Dana Reynolds, percussion; Finn Woodruff, fiddle.

Guitarist Stan Keach is a nationally-known bluegrass songwriter. The Ramblers’ 2012 CD, Cry of the Loon, has songs such as “Slow Down (You’ll Hit a Moose),” “Donn Fendler” and “Boots From L. L. Bean.” Their new CD, Home in the Heart of Maine, will be released early this spring.
