UMA’s story is being told across Maine and beyond. Now you can find it all in one place.
We’ve added a new UMA in the News page to The Lookout. It gathers recent stories from local and regional media that feature our students, faculty, staff, and programs.
The page already includes more than 20 stories from the past year. You’ll find coverage of moments we celebrated together, like our 60th anniversary, the opening of the Capital Center, and Commencement for the Class of 2026. You’ll also see how UMA is helping meet Maine’s workforce needs in fields like aviation, nursing, and cybersecurity. And you’ll hear from our faculty, who news outlets regularly turn to for expertise on topics like law enforcement and local government.
The newest addition is News Center Maine’s coverage of our second annual Kids in Aviation Day at Brunswick Landing.
We’ll keep adding stories as they’re published. We’re proud of the work happening across our community, and we’re glad to have a place to share it.
