October is both Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the UMA community has two ways to get involved.
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk – Tuesday, October 27, 12:00–1:00 p.m.
Join the UMA Dental Club for a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Meet in front of the UMA Dental Clinic at 201 Texas Avenue in Bangor, and don’t forget to wear pink!

Wear Purple Day – Thursday, October 22
UMA Counseling and Wellness invites you to wear purple to help spread domestic violence awareness. Post a photo on Facebook with the hashtag #wearpurpledayUMA for a chance to win a prize. Make sure your post is set to public so we can see it!
