UMA is excited to announce that Jaime Spadea has been hired as the new Associate Human Resources Partner, effective November 1, 2025.
Jaime brings over 35 years of professional experience, most recently serving as an Early College Counselor at the University of Maine at Augusta. In that role, she supported students, parents, and school counselors through academic planning, advising, and program coordination. Her career at UMA has also included service as an Administrative Specialist in Advising, where she developed strong skills in student support, event coordination, and data management.
With a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Human Resource Management certificate from UMA, Jaime is well-prepared to support the University community in this new HR capacity. Known for her collaborative spirit, commitment to equity, and dedication to fostering student and employee success, she will be an asset to the HR team and to UMA as a whole.
