FAFSA Workshops (Virtual and In-Person)

Virtual Workshop Sessions

These information sessions are offered in partnership between UMA and the Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC). They will provide financial aid basics such as applying for financial aid with the FAFSA, an overview of financial aid terms and processes, and outreach resources for help with applying for financial aid.

How to attend a virtual session:

Although we will have a planned program, we want these sessions to reflect UMA’s flexible walk-in policy and allow you the ability to join without the hassle of a registration! Remember to join during our scheduled times by clicking the button below!

In Person Workshop Sessions

Just like the virtual session, these information sessions are also offered in partnership between UMA and the Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC). They will provide financial aid basics such as applying for financial aid with the FAFSA, an overview of financial aid terms and processes, and outreach resources for help with applying for financial aid – IN PERSON and hands-on!

How to attend an in-person session:

In-person sessions will be in Room 255 of the Randall Student Center located on the Augusta Campus. The address is 46 University Drive., Augusta, ME 04330, the building is well marked and we will have signs directing you to the room! To register, email nathan.parenteau@maine.edu.
