2025-2026 Academic Assessment Summit, Day 3

Exterior of a two-story red brick building with a green metal roof, framed by small flowering trees in bloom under a blue sky with scattered clouds.

Please join this three-day series of one-hour sessions, from Feb. 9 to 11, each day from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, to explore topics related to academic assessment in the age of generative AI.

The summit will be in-person on the UMA Campus in Augusta, with a video feed to Bangor, as well as online via Zoom.*

This event is co-hosted by the Joint Academic Assessment Committee (JAAC) and the Artificial Intelligence Committee (AIC).

RSVP TODAY!

On Feb. 11, join us for an Assessment Summit Campfire, an informal, open discussion where faculty and staff can debrief and wrap up our three-day series by talking about assessments and how to navigate the presence of AI tools in higher education. Bring your questions, wins, and worries to this hour-long conversation, facilitated by Chad Bouchard, UMA’s AI and Academic Initiatives Coordinator, as we think through emerging challenges together.

Light refreshments will be offered in Farber Forum and in Eastport Hall each day.

Please read more about sessions on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10 via the UMA event calendar.

The sessions will take place at the Farber Forum in Jewett Hall, 46 University Drive in Augusta, and on the Bangor campus over Zoom in Eastport Hall, room 136.

*The Zoom link will be posted on the UMA Calendar closer to the event date.
