The Student Association (SA) helped to organize two very important events within the Ellsworth community. On October 15, students hung banners in various locations throughout Ellsworth with Finding Our Voices.
SA also assisted in packing and distributing two thousand yellow tulip bulbs for The Yellow Tulip Project. This organization is helping to smash the stigma of mental illness and suicide. On the back of the planting instructions sheet, participants have the opportunity to upload the location of their HOPE garden of tulips to show support for those that suffer in spring.
The Student Association has a table of student-decorated candles available by donation with proceeds to go to Next Step Domestic Violence Project in observance of domestic violence month.
