Welcome, newly accepted Summer and Fall 2024 students and families!
UMA is happy to welcome newly accepted Summer and Fall 2024 students, their families, and support systems to attend a fun-filled afternoon on our Augusta campus to celebrate and learn more about the UMA experience.
The event is an opportunity to mingle with current students, faculty, staff, and future classmates while also enjoying UMA’s beautiful campus. Complimentary beverages, food, and treats will be available along with family-friendly entertainment, activities, information tables, and tours of the campus. If you have not done so already, you will be able to meet with an advisor to register for classes as well as get your UMA ID card! This event will start at 2:00 pm with a welcome from the Academic deans, an interactive student panel, and a FAFSA update.
The rest of the event is drop-in style so you can leave at any time you would like. We will be gathering outside, so plan to wear weather-appropriate attire and comfortable shoes. In the event of rain, we will relocate inside. All students who attend will be placed in a drawing to win a 35″ Smart TV and all students will receive fun UMA swag!
92 Moose will be DJ’ing the event so be sure to submit your favorite inspirational song for the playlist when you register. Additionally, We are excited to announce that Aroma Joe’s will be joining us to serve complimentary drinks and coffee!

Note: We will not have a separate event on the Bangor campus. All students who will be attending UMA, regardless of location or online, are invited to celebrate with us!
