To apply for financial aid at UMA, you will need to submit the FAFSA.
The FAFSA for the AY 2024-2025 will not be available to complete until Dec. 2023.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed each academic year for all programs administered by UMA. These programs include: federal, state, and university grants, loans, work-study and scholarships.
UMA’s Federal School Code is: 006760
UMA’s preferred application deadline for the FAFSA is March 1 to allow for the equitable distribution of limited funding to eligible students. Applicants that meet the preferred deadline automatically have their eligibility reviewed for all programs.
Applicants that submit their FAFSA after UMA’s preferred deadline will automatically have their eligibility reviewed for all programs based upon eligibility and the availability of funding.
Please note: Several university scholarships require meeting the FAFSA preferred application deadline. Applicants that submit Admissions materials after May 1 will not be considered for Merit Scholarships.
