The President’s Council on Transforming Lives has extended the deadline for 2025-2026 Transforming Lives Mini-Grant applications to Friday, November 7, 2025.
Grants of up to $1,500 are available to support projects that promote equity, inclusion, and belonging within the university community.
Faculty, staff, and students whether applying individually or collaboratively, are invited to submit proposals. Projects might include events, trainings, internships, or other initiatives that strengthen our culture of inclusion.
Applications will be assessed for impact, clarity, and alignment with the Council’s goals.
Funds must be spent by December 31, 2026.

The President’s Council on Transforming Lives is excited to announce the 2025-2026 Transforming Lives Mini-Grants. The mini-grant is a great opportunity to bring your ideas to life and help advance equity, inclusion, and belonging across the UMA community! Mini-grants of up to $1,500 will support projects that strengthen our shared commitment to an inclusive environment.
We welcome applications from all faculty, staff, and students (full- or part-time) whether applying individually or in collaboration with others on campus or in the community. Projects might fund a guest speaker or series, support a student intern, sponsor a workshop or training, promote workplace equity and inclusion, or develop new materials or initiatives aligned with the mission of the Council on Transforming Lives.
Applications will be reviewed for impact, clarity, and connection to the Council’s goals. Proposals are due Friday, October 31, 2025, and funds must be used by December 31, 2026.
