Give Kids A Smile®
The American Dental Association reports that over 300,000 children are provided with free oral health education, screenings, preventive and restorative treatment annually through Give Kids a Smile® Programs.
In 2023, the UMA Bangor Dental Health Program’s event provided free dental services to approximately 55 children. All children were seen by a Maine licensed dentist for an exam and our UMA students provided all the other preventive dental services including prophylaxis cleanings, 45 sets of X-Rays, 6 sealants and 46 fluoride treatments.
Our next Give Kids a Smile® event will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024. We will begin scheduling appointments in January. Don’t miss it!
