In Augusta, on Saturday, March 18 at 1 pm, attend the 2023 Maine Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at UMA’s Farber Forum. This year’s inductee is Dr. Sandra L. Caron.
In Portland, on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, attend the free event “Women and Conflict: From Situations to Solutions” at USM Hannaford Hall, hosted by the USM School of Nursing and Partners for World Health. Refreshments will be served.
In South Portland, on Sunday, March 5 from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm, attend the 3rd annual International Women’s Day Celebration and Ocean Dip at Willard beach, an event organized by Two Maine Mermaids.

In Bar Harbor, on Wednesday April 26 at 2:30pm at their North Lawn, College of the Atlantic is arranging a Festival of Colors celebration as part of its Cultural Week.

In Augusta, on Thursday March 16 at 5:30pm, the Augusta Teen Center of the Boys and Girls Club is organizing a St. Patrick’s Day Auction and Dinner at the Augusta Calumet Club.
In Portland, on Sunday March 12 at noon, the Irish American Club is organizing a St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at the intersection of Commercial Street and Center Street and afterwards hosting an Open House featuring food, music, tours, and educational resources at the Maine Irish Heritage Center.
In Boothbay Harbor Region, there are a number of events taking place on Friday March 17 and Saturday March 18 on the eve of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day that you can attend.

In Portland, on Friday April 7 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, attend the Ramadan Iftar at the University of New England’s Innovation 201 room hosted by the university’s Muslim Student Association.
