Baron Dyer
Part-Time Faculty
Dr. Dyer serves as a Patrol Sergeant for a mid-sized agency in Connecticut, where he has spent over thirteen years in operational law enforcement. His prior research, grounded in action research methodology, examined how sustained, non-enforcement community engagement shifts officer perceptions and rebuilds institutional trust in BIPOC communities. He serves as a federal grant peer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice, SAMHSA, and the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants, and previously held a board position with the iSchool for the Future.
