Designed to align with UMA’s Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program, this Early College pathway offers high school students the opportunity to explore a wide variety of academic interests, find their passion and make progress on general education credits that are widely transferable. Students who go on to pursue the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies will eventually choose a minor, rather than a major, in one area.  

  • ENG 101: College Writing and ENG 102W: Introduction to Literature
  • COM 101: Public Speaking or COM 102: Interpersonal Communication
  • PSY 100: Introduction to Psychology or SOC 101: Introduction to Sociology
  • ART 100: Introduction to Studio Art or ART 109: Photographic Vision & Digital Discovery
  • CIS 100: Introduction to Computer Applications or CIS 101: Introduction to Computer Science
