Designed to align with UMA’s Bachelor of Information & Library Science (ILS) program, this Early College pathway offers high school students the opportunity to learn about modern librarianship as a way to engage our wider communities, help our fellow citizens enhance their knowledge, and develop relationships with the world of information that surrounds us.  This program provides practical hands on skills, experiences, and philosophies to help students become successful library professionals and will prepare them to be eligible for licensure in the state of Maine.
